Week 6
Today was a little bit busy. We had seven flights. I got to shadow Denice the counters. I was sitting and observing what she was doing and how she assisted the passengers. I got the chance to ask questions as I was looking at the Amadeus screen when she was checking in the passengers. I asked a couple questions and learned that you can swipe a passengers credit card the same way you can for their passport, which I found convenient. After that I went with Libby to gate C32 for a flight to Cancun departing at 6:15am. Libby took me to the aircraft where I got to listen to the Flight attendant briefing for a bit. Shortly after I assisted Libby in putting priory boarding stickers on the designated seats on the aircraft based on the list she provided me with. Everyone was boarded on time and the aircraft left on time as well.
