How to prepare your FARTECH® calendar flip clock for Leap Year
FARTECH® calendar flip clock can automatically handle any dates except February 29th in leap year. Below is instruction of how to prepare your FARTECH calendar flip/flap clock for Leap Year:
Option 1:
On February 28th, set the ON/OFF switch (only available on certain models, for example AD-630, AD-640, etc.) to OFF. For models (for example AD-650, AD-880, etc.) that don't have the power switch, remove the batteries from the battery chamber but do not remove the battery from the Quartz clock.
On March 1st, firstly manually adjust the day panel to the correct day of the week (AM or PM depending on the time) and then set the ON/OFF switch to ON (or re-install the batteries), the calendar will automatically flip to March 1st.
Option 2 (for advanced users only):
On February 28th, set the ON/OFF switch (only available on certain models, for example AD-630, AD-640, etc.) to OFF. For models (for example AD-650, AD-880, etc.) that don't have the power switch, remove the batteries from the battery chamber but do not remove the battery from the Quartz clock.
On February 29th, keep the ON/OFF switch at OFF (or batteries removed) and manually adjust the day panel to the correct day of the week (AM or PM depending on the time) and date panel to February 29th.
On March 1st, firstly manually adjust the day panel to the correct day of the week (AM or PM depending on the time) and then set the ON/OFF switch to ON (or re-install the batteries), the calendar will automatically flip to March 1st.
Option 3: If the calendar flipped to March 1st, wait until March 1st then follow the standard set-up instructions and setup the calendar to the current date.
