Top fronts, bottom hinds.
Cheyanne has been having some lameness issues. We were really worried about laminitis so we had radiographs done. I’m so lucky we have such a great team and was able to FaceTime with both my farrier and vet as they checked her out together.
We’re clear for lami, but you can see how much extra toe she has on her fronts and how that would contribute to how her feet feel. She also has broken axies in both of her hinds. Her soles are very thin as well.
My wonderful farrier, Scott, applied leather pads, slight wedges in her hinds to correct those angles, and chopped off that extra toe. Looking at her foot from the outside, you would never have noticed how much toe she needed to lose. Love it when a team comes together!
