Another favourite Merseybeat band of mine is Faron’s Flamingos. They really portrayed the unpolished, rough and raw Rock & Roll Liverpool sound of the early 60s. They’re version of “Do You Love Me” is by far my favourite version of the song. Just pure simple straight Rock. And all of the other few records they made are absolutely brilliant.
