Ringo is teaching Ginger how to negotiate the jump gate I cobbled together to see if it would even work. This apparatus allows her to come and go between pen and pasture at night, but goats cannot pass through. (At least not yet...) Now she can go out to eat, play and patrol at night. I will most likely build true jump gates into the fences since I see it works. You can look them up on You Tube for variations in design. I made mine larger so she could more easily learn to pass through. Ringo had no trouble. First day, he leapt through like a circus dog.
