May Eternal Peace, Love & Courage Be Upon The Soul of Eve Gutierrez... Daughter of our family, raised by Stella and Tattiani then Arkame and Salvador... Eve passed away today, August 5, 2019 at approximately 11:00am at her home in Hawks Prairie, Washington - she lived to be 17 Years Old!!! Eve is my BEST friend. I have never had a friend more fine, aware, in tune, attentive and supportive than she. The many times I have encountered harm and death - Eve stood close by my side and looked into my eyes and offered her kisses and company. Eve was a shy puppy... likely having been mistreated with her litter - for a time she would not approach strangers and she became trained as a guard dog, sentry and protector who could judge the character and lack-thereof of a being better than I or anyone I have known. Eve, although ‘fixed’ early on became a Mother - a Momma Dog to animals who would make her friendly and who would come to revere, love and respect her. Her regal character would be found in the other animals whom she raised and influenced... Ngomane (2008-2010), Hewa (2010-), Tadashi (2012-) and Nandi (2019-)... Thank you to all who met, shared a moment with or knew Eve The Egyptian Girl. Of her growth, regality, beauty, longevity, smile and friendship - there is NO LIKE... This beautiful Sunset has stolen my heart. Trying to give her the best life for the rest of her short life. It’s so hard to believe that she was tormented and used then thrown out by humans she thought loved her and after all that, she can still love so hard the way she does. I dred the day I have to say goodbye, all I can do is make every day a bucket list day for the rest of her time with me. Thank you to everyone who donated to her surgery and vet care. She, and I will forever be grateful and she now gets to enjoy what she should have had for the last 5 years. She deeply cares about what is thought of her and she never wants to disappoint. She no longer nurses her toys like she used to but she still protects them as if they were her puppies. She loves car rides and running in my front yard, she enjoys walks and going on pack hikes, and she loves food! But most of all, she loves to cuddle. My dad’s dog Shawna had puppies this week and I’ll be assisting him in finding homes for them. Their father is a dachshund. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️To clarify this was not done on purpose or for profit and she will be fixed, he only adopted her a few months ago. My dad didn’t even know she was pregnant or that she ever came into heat - though warnings were made she was older than he thought. Both parent dogs have amazing temperaments and weigh under 30 lbs.
