Finished outrageously strong! I initially wanted to finish in under 45 minutes. I checked my time at mile 2, and decided I could feasibly finish in under 40 minutes. A 40 minute 5k time is not really that great, but I'm WOEFULLY unprepared for this weekend. I smashed that shit; came in at 40:12 which to me is amazing. I'm so proud of myself. Super happy I got to do this weekend with @jennylockhert. I also ran into other friends, and got to have an AMAZING vegan endless pasta bowl dinner at @greenhousecafefargo with @the_asianfury, one of my best BEST friends! I also really need to give a shoutout to my amazing husband. He comes to ALL of my races, regardless of how early in the morning we have to get up, or how bad the weather is, or how far we have to travel, or how insufferable I know I am because I stress out really badly (after 6 years, you think I'd be used to it by now!). Every time, he patiently deals and stands by, holding my bags of crap for 40-95 minutes while I run. Truly a life partner, gentleman, and stand up guy.
