This is about fanworks specifically on tumblr where you tag things both for others to find and for your own blog organisation. How do you feel when fan creators tag characters who don't play any significant role in the fanwork? For example: a character that appears only in one panel of a fancomic and doesn't do anything important, a character who only appears in one or two scenes of a fic without any focus, a character mentioned in passing in a meta, and so on. Assuming there is nothing unusual or eye catching with the appearence.

(i am also interested in reading thoughts in tags and replies because personally i don't know how to feel about it since on tumblr you tag both for your own blog and for the search, and some people like to see even glimpses of their blorbos while others don't like when character tags are clogged with something not really relevant)
