IT HAD BEEN A MOMENT THE queen had been dreading. Johnny had been there from almost the very beginning -- aiding her with the humans & with her own heavy heart. But if she had been truthful to herself, from the very beginning, he had been more like a crutch than a lover. How horrible it was to think such a thing, to do it, but the truth was that only one man would ever fully have her heart: & that was her estranged husband.
But Reed -- she had always admired. Always desired in some small way, despite his wife, despite their families friendships. Perhaps that was why. Whatever the reason was she could not say, she could only say that she & Reed had an intimate understanding of one another, more so than she & Jonathan had.
