After he was ready to give up, his wife urged him to write one he would like. We all have moments when we’re ready to give up and I think it’s interesting he created Ben during that time. Hard shell on a soft boy, this character represents growth to me and overcoming things about you that might be “ugly” or hard to face. I normally only sell this print at cons but figured I’d put a couple on my store to honor Stan Lee’s legacy, especially since other people might want to do that as well.
