For Day 6 of Fankidweek I drew Brittney going through the Ultra Wormhole and encountering other children that belong to her parents, Bugsy and/or Whitney!
On the right is Beckett, also known as Buzzy; he's designed by @pkmn-future ! Just like his dad he loves Bug-Types and uses a Yanma!
On the left is Carmen, by @moenecropyromancer (who also runs @pokemon-legends-and-legacies !) She takes after her mom, Whitney, a fair bit, and also is a user of Mega Evolutions!
It's so cool seeing how we all came to different conclusions for our fankids, since at the end of the day, we're all fans of their parents anyhow!

Since it’s Akiko’s birthday, I figured I would draw Akiko wearing a Manectric shirt! She likely would have bought it because I’d imagine that merchandise for Manectric is rare.
Fankid week, day 2: Pokemon partners! Decided to go a little bit wild on this one, they might be flat colors but the designs were the focus here!
More writing under cut!
Delia: She meet her partner when it was brought as a rescue; a small eevee kicked out of the pack, turned feral and aggressive due to the harsh conditions it had lived in. Though patience and care, Delia was able to befriend it, making it her first pokemon!
Douglas: Given as a totodile, he has his started chosen as most kids do in the Johto region, and has been with him ever since; the star of his team!
Rose: Not quite her first pokemon, but her first caught; she met zigzagoon while traveling, as it followed her around. Soon warming up to the creature, she took it with her, becoming her most trusted companion ever since!
Kitty: Her first pokemon, her altaria named 'blublu', was met as a swablu when she was only 8 years old; her parents let her keep it, but they only started battling once the journey started! As for Raichu, it used to be a girl's contest pikachu, who when evolved, was released since it was not 'pretty' anymore; though kitty gladly added the rodent pokemon to her team!
Archer: Given as an egg by iris, since he was 9 he'd been taking care of the egg; and when it hatched, it became his first pokemon! A proud dragon type to start his journey as a dragon master.
Becca: After being indecisive with the three Kalos starters given to her, she was offered an alternative: in Sycamore's lab, they'd been taking care of an injured Panpour, who would have a hard time re-joining the wild. He and Becca became close in no time, a notoriously great match!
Pikake: Before catching his shiny cutiefly, he had a regular Cutiefly before, whom evolved to ribombee. But when finding the shiny surrounded by pokemon poachers, he fought to set it free, only for it to get attached to the boy, and becoming his pokemon partner!
Hey everyone! All of us here in the Pokemon fankid corner of the fandom are planning on having a fankid week from February 10th-16th, 2020! It'll just be a week of fun, giving everyone the chance to develop their kiddos or make new ones! Here is all the info you need!
(Pokeshipping family: an early morning battle, story under the cut!)
It wasn’t unusual for Lyn to wake up to the sounds of a pokemon battle being fought outside her window. Afterall Lyn had been hearing this sound for as long as she could remember, it had almost become soothing. Lyn tried to just go back to sleep but something about this battle was just more intense so Lyn’s curiosity peaked as she got out of bed. Joltik who had been sleeping on one of Lyn’s pillows was awoken by Lyn’s sudden movement so he crawled onto Lyn’s shoulder as she walked out of her bedroom and into the hallway. Lyn walked down the narrow hallway that was decorated with family portraits and awards that both of her parents had won over the years to the balcony that overlooks the lake that also serves as her mother's gym.
Lyn opened the door and stepped onto the balcony, feeling the lake breeze hit her she began to shiver. She could walk back to her room and grab a robe however she was already starting to become invested in the battle in front of her. The Gym on the lake had different platforms, a few for non-water type pokemon to land on in battle and two bigger platforms for the gym leader and challenger to stand on respectively. While Lyn could spot her mother's red hair from a mile away even in the sunrise it took Lyn a minute to recognize the challenger. But soon she realized that this man wasn’t just a normal gym challenger, it was her father Ash Ketchum. Ash had left earlier that week to do “Pokemon Master duties” as he describes it to Lyn. Now that the Pokemon Master was back home it seems the first thing he wanted to do was have a pokemon battle with his beautiful wife, Misty. Ash’s Sceptile seems to have been in a rough spot against Misty’s Gyrados so Ash called for Sceptile to return. Pikachu who was just happily on Ash’s shoulder this whole battle was now called into battle.
“Gyrados is my last pokemon for this match, I guess I need to get serious if I wanna win!” Misty said as she held her wrist up to reveal her keystone. “My beautiful blue sweetheart, mega evolve!” As Misty called this command both Misty and Gyrados were absorbed in a blinding light. When the light was gone Gyrados had changed form and began to attack Pikachu with all it’s might, however, Pikachu was small and fast, mostly being able to dodge by going from platform to platform. Lyn was completely absorbed in the battle until she felt something pull at her pajama pants. She looked down to see her three-year-old brother, Ronan, pulling at her legs to get her attention. He seems to have gotten out of his room and walked through the open door onto the balcony.
“I wanna see the battle!” His little voice whined as he held his arms in the air, this was his way of asking his sister to pick him up so he could see over the balcony and get a better look. Lyn smiled as she leaned down to get a good grip on her baby brother. She lifted him up and kept him stable on her hip to the best of her ability.
“Pikachu! One more thunderbolt!” Ash called out.
With that final command, a bolt of lightning shot out of Pikachu’s small body heading straight towards an already weaker Gyrados. The attack landed head-on and Gyrados’s form was reverted back to normal as it crashed into the water, hitting Misty with a big wave in the process.
“Woooooo!”
Suddenly both of the Ketchum’s turned their heads to the balcony. They saw both of their children watching the pair and cheering for their father’s victory.
“Lyn, Ronan! It’s too early to be up!” Misty called out.
“It’s too early for you two to be having an intense pokemon battle” Lyn restored back.
Misty looked at Ash with a playful attitude, the battle was his idea after all. Ash just looked away and laughed.
“Since we’re all up let’s have breakfast,” Misty declared as she headed back towards dry land, Ash right behind her with a grin on his face. “I’ll have to change before I make it.”
“Let me handle it,” Ash offered and Lyn’s eyes lit up.
“Dad! Let me help! I want pancakes!”
“Pancakes~” Ronan cheered as he mimicked his sister.
Lyn set her brother down before heading back inside so she could run down to the kitchen. She was already set on helping with breakfast, she wouldn’t take no for an answer.
“Pikachu, make sure those two don’t burn down the kitchen,” Misty said with a sigh. Pikachu let out a cheerful cry before Ash suddenly put his arm around Misty’s waist.
“Have a little faith in me, I’m not as bad of a cook as I was back in the day.”
“Sure,” Misty said as she rolled her eyes. Ash just smiled down at her and placed a kiss on her forehead.
“DAD!” They both heard Lyn from outside.
“I’m coming!” Ash called back as he headed inside.
For all the eye-rolling and sighing Misty had done that morning she wasn’t truly upset. When she was alone she just smiled, she was more than thankful to have such a wonderful family.

Featuring Ambrose and the terrible twins, Chelsea & Merrill! aka Rivals who are taller than you are twice as annoying.
Ambrose is Bede’s son and Victor’s stepson and the oldest of seven siblings. He’s a fairy-type trainer who wants to take over his father’s gym one day and loves period fashion and aesthetics, aspiring to be a proper gentleman like the heroes of his favorite dramas and romances. While on his Gym Challenge, he also wants to figure out where he came from, as it’s not something his parents ever fully discussed with him.
Chelsea & Merrill are Leon, Piers & Raihan’s twins (biologically Piers/Raihan). The two of them are often seen causing trouble together and both train primarily dark and dragon-types. While they love battling, neither twin has any interest in becoming a Gym Leader or trying for the Champion spot, preferring to live life their own way and have the most fun as possible. Chelsea tends to be more energetic and mischievous, while Merrill is a bit more laid back and snarky.
Since they’re such opposites, and as the three oldest Galar fankids, it was natural that Ambrose and the twins ended up as rivals. Chell and Rill take any opportunity they can to challenge Ambrose to a battle or even just to tease him, which Ambrose never appreciates. Maybe one day he can catch a break or even befriend the duo... though to Ambrose that seems a long ways off.
I wanted to do something for fankid week before it ended but stupid life got in the way ;m; Then I remembered I had these from ages ago that I hadn’t uploaded so here they are!
Here’s my three altshipping fankids, Rune, Richard and Rhona. Rune is the oldest and loves Ground types. A bit spoiled thanks to her father Steven, though she is generally well meaning and kind. She’s just a bit, y’know... stupid. Minor celebrity in Hoenn due to a) shopping erry day and b) would turn up to the opening of an envelope so is often seen in gossip columns in magazines and such, usually with a female friend. Couldn’t battle her way out of a paper bag though mostly because she can’t stand to see her pokemon being hurt.
Middle child syndrome stereotype is Richard who prefers the fire type. He’s a bit of a sensitive soul and is easily flustered. Doesn’t say much and what little he does say is usually some sarcastic comment aimed at Rune that goes over her head. Hates life in the city and would prefer to be a hermit on the island his mother Lorelei grew up on. A decent battler, though he is more interested in breeding and other forms of competition such as Rapidash racing in Kanto.
L’il baby is Rhona, fairy types are her jam. Cheerful and upbeat (sometimes to the point of irritation for everyone else) she is rarely seen without a smile on her face. A bit innocent and naive, but that’s mostly due to being a bit coddled due to being the youngest and there being a bit of an age gap between her and her siblings. A natural performer, she loves the spectacle of Galar gym battles and would love to have her own gym there someday.
