       birds chirp from        under a nearby table and the waitress coos at them while she busses  .  lora slipped a hundred euro onto the table after it’s patrons left  ,  turning before she could see the relieved glee on the young girl’s face  .  it’s a cloudy day in paris and they’re squeezed under the cafe’s hanging cover  ,  a light drizzle coming and going as they sit  .  a cold cup of tea sits in front of the blonde  ,  every once and a while stirring it with her spoon  ,  fiddling with the bag’s label hanging out of the pot between them  .  “  first of all  ,   ”  lor starts with a huffed laugh and a smile  ,  “  i’ve offered to pay for your flat and second  ,  i’ve been trying to get you to move to the court since we met  !  ”  helle teases her  ,  saying that it’s her life mission to collect everyone she cares for under one roof  ,  even if they’re packed in like sardines  .  lora doesn’t see anything wrong with that goal  .  “  i’d love for you to move in  ,  and we have flats in the city if you ever need a taste of city life again  .  ”
