Мистер Джей снова вдохновил меня :З
9:37 Octavia's always sensed since season 1 bellarke hug that Bellamy is in love with Clarke, its funny how she indirectly warns him what his fate could be because Clarke has in general put the greater good of her people first. This scene is just so good, he relates to the guy who would do anything to protect Lexa and explains that to Lincoln and Octavia who just looks at him and comments "Look at the thanks he got" for loving her. Indirectly warning him that if he heads down that road he could get himself killed trying to save her too and by no one other than her. Though later we know she can't do it, Bellamy is the one person she isn't willing to sacrifice for any greater cause (unless its there kid Maddie shes trying to save like the mama bear, she has become, of course). Bellamy's face though when Octavia said that is so interesting its like he's pained and suspects that she is right, afterall he knows that Clarke knows how to put her feelings aside. I think he's always been looking for that in Clarke, trying to see indications from Clarke that she'd choose him above all else. That's when he'd know she loves him like he wants to be loved. Clarke unfortunately took upon herself all the responsibilities of a leader and hasn't had time to examine her relationship with him. After 6 years though we see how that's changed she's incredibly happy to see him, but Maddie her daughter is now her only top priority. She's a mom trying to only protect her kid, which Bellamy tells her and forgives her for trying to kill his sister again. BUT the biggest counter of all is that when Octavia tries to kill Clarke HE is the one who poisons his sister. The one person he was protecting for MOST of his life, he poisons her to save Clarke. He puts his love for Clarke above his sister, thought its easier to do since shes become a dictator. But still that takes a lot out of a person, and we don't see him regret his actions by much even though he's relieved she's alive. We watched him struggle when Clarke suggested poisoning her, but when crunch time comes he decisively chooses Clarke. We watch Octavia point out his love for Clarke again, this time which he admits to, just before he poisons her. Clarke's talk with Maddie and Echo about love and Bellamy is even better, afterall she abandons him to die but is having a hard time with the regret and grief. And then finally finally after all this time FINALLY she puts him first when she tells them to go save him. Then when it comes to taking off and Bellamy is beyond angry at her betrayal but then Maddie tells him just how much Clarke loves him by telling him about her 6 years of constant calls. The look on his face at realizing that he wasn't the only one who grieved. That the loss of him was as awful for her as it was for him to lose her. Then when it comes time to take off or waiting for friends to make it and risk their everyone and she yells for him to make that choice... he turns around and outright refuses and then tells her, what he had to do to her, he can never do again. Finally he's willing to reveal to her how much it cost him to lose her too, in words. Their both finally putting down there walls, putting each other as priority, admitting to each other how much they care, no love each other. Before Clarke only told him in words that she cares and he told her in his actions by trying to keep her safe. But neither of them got the message from each other. She didn't get the message from his actions with all she has had to deal with and he couldn't trust her words because of everything she has had to do when putting others above her own needs. BUT NOW after everything, her giving her life to save him and their friends, her finally taking a risk to save him, with her now no longer the decisive leader, but instead looking to Bellamy for advice and decisions. Now with all her walls down, and struggling with self hate and the guilt of all she's done, shes at her lowest point. This time SHE needs him more than anything when before it was always the other way around when he used to need her more than what he could easily see was her needing him. And the best part she knows he feels the same way too. She knows he'd also protect her above all else. The trust, chemistry, history, and love between them is finally lining up, when before they kept missing each other. At LAST we see him smiling when talking to her just happy to have her with him, him finally being able to comfort her from the guilt now that he’s been through more of the same cutthroat struggles where he put aside his feelings and actually came out on top in saving all he could. Clarke is finally leaning on him when she couldn’t before and he’s really happy about it. In the season so far when he has his psychotic breakdown he tells her how he doesn’t need her anymore that he’s just fine without her. It really shows how much he struggled with needing her more than she needed him in their past. Relying on her so much to make the hardest decisions before, to not being able to put his feelings aside for the greater good the way she did. In Clarke’s psychotic breakdown we see just how badly the guilt of her decisions is hurting her inside, she clearly hasn’t forgiven herself for any of it and so her hallucination considers herself the enemy and so she tries to hurt herself. Bellamy is finally able to see through Clarke’s motivations and actions enough to be there for her in the way she needs. And most of all he suspects that she is in love with him too, even if she hasn’t done anything about it (i keep noticing the smile playing on his lips and the happy eyes he keeps looking at her with in most of all there moments). We can see that Clarke is self sacrificing enough that she would never do anything about it to Bellamy while he’s with Echo. Just like when Raven came she quietly gave Finn space and focused on their pressing survival problems. Bellamy knows her well enough to know this as well. I think most of Clarke’s regret is coming from seeing Bellamy being a far better leader after learning from her and her mistakes. He keeps telling her its okay and she nods along but she isn’t being strong in defending herself to the others because on the inside she agrees. What everyone else just doesn’t realize is that Clarke, Octavia even Lexa all were leaders during periods of their peoples survival at its most critical. That’s why they were forced to make awful decisions in excruciating circumstances. Bellamy, Maddie and the leaders now have a lot more options and security and so they can more easily take risks to save more people instead of only prioritizing survival above all else. Clarke and Octavia’s decisions can’t really be measured against Bellamy’s and Maddies because the situations are pretty different. However the actions both Clarke and Octavia took afterwards when coming out of the critical situation. Both Clarke and Lexa choose to try to do better and face there guilt....while Octavia is unable to stop because she can’t face the guilt so she becomes a literal tyrant. Bellamy sees this, it was him who told Clarke early on that who you need to be to survive and who you need to be to live are two very different situations. He doesn’t blame Clarke because hes seen her try to atone, while he can’t forgive Octavia because after making the awful decisions and getting out of the critical situation she kept on making those awful decisions for her own selfish needs.
