Are there any Pride and Prejudice AUs in existence out there?

Timbuktu-timbuktu!
I know this is a long shot, but if anyone in the fandot or wider John Finnemore fandom is going to the JFSP tryouts on Sunday March 31st, I'd love to meetup before hand. If that's you, drop me a message.

When I was playing WoW the first time, or thru most of my City of Heroes and Guild Wars experience, I didn't know anyone else who did that kind of thing. For a lot of it I was extremely isolated, and my partner of the time wasn't really any kind of gamer (She's expanded her horizons since), so a lot of my experience of the things I loved was to read that new things were coming, and then be happy, but not really have anyone to talk to about them.
Books were the exception, David Eddings, Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams fandom on usenet were my gateway drugs to the internet, and brought me friends who have shaped my life in more ways than I could possibly articulate.
The modern world has so many better things. Livejournal and more recently Tumblr are places where no matter what your special interest is today, there are ten thousand people who know what you mean and empathise with how you feel about it.
But some things are still tiny, and sometimes there are things in fandoms that only you and one other person you know will be interested in. So once in a while, you shout into the void in someone specific's direction, and not mind too much that the rest of the world has no concept of why this is neat.
Hey, @duckbunny, did you see there's a new two part special of Pilgrim in the new year?
Happy Christmas from MJN Air

And today's 'things I did not expect to see on BBC news' award goes to....
Later on in the article it describes how a member of cabin crew stood in the cockpit making sure they didn't start fighting again for the rest of the flight. And I just have a glorious mental image of Carolyn, arms folded, being every inch the alpha dog.
