Names of the dorms are kind of up made up so yeah. Also, student sorted into these dorms are said to be missing the qualities and learn the traits that match the spirit of their dorm. Kind of like how the Heroes have to learn their lesson.
I’m curious if you have any thoughts. Would love some opinions or inputs
Machiaveil, The Dorm of the Curious, yet Pragmatic Girl (Alice)
Students here are said to embody the trope “Only Sane Man” like the young girl did. In a world of madness where down is up right is northwest. The curious girl found herself in the clutches of the mad world of Wonderland and came across the Queen of Hearts. While in the beginning she tried to follow the 810 rules the Queen set up she notice how usual and nonsensical. Her questioning and challenging the rules ended up with gaining the Queen’s ire. Thanks to her pragmaticism she was able to escape this mad world
The Dorm Colors are a Baby Blue and White. The Dorm itself is entirely is similar to Heartslabyul, but instead of Red Rose. The garden is littered with White Roses. Unlike Heartslabyul the rules in this dorm make more sense and unreasonable rulings are not allowed.
Students enter here to learn how to problem solve and that all things should be solved with logic and reason.
Gallentine, Dorm of the Courageous Lion (Simba?)
Based on the Lion that faced his fears to meet his fate head on and achieved greatness by doing so. Like Savanaclaw, the one the represents this dorm was one of many King of Beasts. In this case, the King of Beast that represents this dorm is said to be the nephew of the King of Beasts represented in Savanaclaw. He continued the work his uncle started and made even greater accomplishments to bring the Savannah together
The Dorm Colors are similar to the Setting Sun of the Savannah, Yellow, red and orange. The dorm itself is based off the Oasis that Timon, Pumba, and Simba lived in. The buildings that the students stayed in are similar in design to Savanaclaw, but with a more tropical setting
Students here are meant to learn True Courage and to face their fears that may be holding them back. That by no means that they are all scaredy cats, but they have certain things that hold them back. For example, a fear of failure
Kuriosum, Dorm of the Curious Mermaid (Ariel)
Based on the Mermaid Princess that had a thirst for knowledge. The Princess was always curious about the world above and longed to be part of that world for a long time. Taking a risk and making a deal with the Sea Witch herself exchanged her voice for human legs to see what the world had to teach her. Encouraged by this act, other merfolk followed suit in the pursuit of knowledge
The Dorm Color are a Sea Green. The Dorm itself is based off of Ariel Grotto. It seemingly looks like a large spiral library or a museum that contains things the Mermaid Princess collected herself. Like Octavinelle, the dorm has an Under the Sea aesthetic
Students here are to let their curiosity run free and learn all that they can about the world around them. Whether that is Over the Rainbow or Under the Sea. The types of students here are the types of people the have the drive to learn. This dorm tends to but heads with Octavinelle
Persiflagea, Dorm of the Witty Thief (Aladdin)
Based on the Street Rat that married the Princess and was rather known for their witty nature. The thief was resourceful and charmed his way to the top to seduce the Princess, and in the process save her from many who would used and abuse her. While his charm covered his lies and was eventually discovered he changed his ways and became more honest.
The Dorm Colors of this Dorm are Purple and Red. The dorm is the opposite of the Scarabia. While the dorm representing the Sorcerer of Sands is rather extravagant, the same cannot be the said for this dorm. What they lack in extravagance they made up for how resourceful they are. Interestingly enough those that are from wealthy backgrounds tend to end up here. Stripping them of their elegant lives and are forced to become a lot more resourceful
Students here are known to be quite charming and can entertain the masses. Despite not having much they work together and help each other out. Amusingly they rival Pomefiore in charm
Gentelgale, Dorm of the Kind-Hearted Snow Maiden (Snow White)
Based on the Snow Maiden that despite all the terrible treatment and harsh words never once gave into her darkness and remain kind in such a harsh word.
Like, how Savanaclaw has a reputation on mostly taking in Beastman. This Dorm has a unique reputation as to hold transfers from NRC while not many obviously transfer to RSA when it does, they seem to be placed here. The Color representing this dorm Pure White like Snow (Or a Pearl White) If the student isn’t a transfer from NRC, then they are those that must learn that Kindness is never a weakness and should never be seen as one
This dorm is known for getting involved in Charities. The benevolence of the Sea Witch couldn’t compare to the Kind heart of the Snow Maiden. The students may value kindness once should never mistake that they will fight if need to. They tend to let the other throw the first punch so they can properly defend themselves.
Alcides, Dorm of the Determined Demi-God (Hercules)
Based on the Demi God that was stripped of his godhood and lived life as a mortal. To join the realm of gods he had to go through many challenges. The hardoworkers go here and is the Jock Dorm of RSA. They have an intense Rivalry with Savanaclaw.
The layout is somewhat similar to Savanaclaw, but instead of the African Savannah it’s more Greek inspired there is even a colosseum where many sports events take place. The Colors of this dorm is a Bronze Color that matches the armor worn by the Demi-God
This dorm is RSA’s Jock dorm. The energy/vibe is that of a bunch of beefy big bros. The students here do have a slight habit of being a lackadaisy, but when it comes down to it can be hardworkers
Dreamshade, Dorm of the Sleeping Beauty (Aurora)
Based on the Beauty that dreamed of a hopeful future. Its presence is very similar to Diasomnia. A dorm where the strongest magic users are placed. While under a sleeping curse the Princess dreamed of a world full of hope and love and believed one day that would come true when all people in all walks of life work together. When her Prince Charming woke her from her slumber, she made it her mission when she became Queen to try and unite the world
The Colors of this dorm are rather strange. Pink, Blue, and Green. Sometimes mashed together to make an Aurora Color. The Dorm is inspired The Faelands that the Princess once lived in called “The Mors” a floral land with fae influence that the Princess once lived. She lived among Fae folk during a time when Human and Fae once lived in harmony
Like Diasomnia, it is considered the top dorm. The students are given a bit of hope to thrive in this world. In the beginning it’s not uncommon for the students to be a bit cynical, but coming into this dorm are given an appropriate amount of hope. They can be a bit obnoxious about it as even RSA students tend to gag on their constant talk of Hope and Dreams
I tried to have the dorm life somewhat match the character. Like with Aladdin coming from the slums and the dorm based on him being kind of basic. For the RSA Lion King dorm, I ended up going with Simba because I recall reading that it was implied that Scar overthrew his older brother in the TWST verse, so I just went with Scar’s nephew and that Simba became Scar’s successor.
