so, i kind of want to share something with you. back in 2012-13, i was a hardcore larrie, to the point where I was unhealthily invested (yeah that was an awful time period in my life) but anyway, i was also a zerrie. idk at the time i liked them bc they were the "cool" couple (lmao what a joke). but I HATED ziam. i always 100% thought something happened between the two, but I'm like "lol that's a thing in the past who cares zerrie's getting married" so i was very much against ziam (p1)

but i had no idea why. well, now I do. see, I’m Muslim, so even tho I was supporting Larry, the thought of zayn being not straight was something that didn’t sit well with me. luckily, I soon realized my internal prejudices and homophobia, and fixed them ASAP. Last year, i stopped being a larrie, a zerrie, lol I just loved ot5 and zayn, even tho I was super official narrative. but at the back of my mind I still thought ziam must’ve fooled around at one point. when I realized that (p2)

(p3) I had thought the same thing about them last year and the year before that, something must’ve been up. either i, still as an anti-ziam, must’ve been making stuff up, or ziam was real. so here I am lol. i started actually thinking they were real post-zayn’s leaving, as weird as that sounds. but this is kinda my story of going from a larrie to a ziam. but let me just confirm what u already know: ppl are very purposely ignorant about ziam, sadly, for a whole bunch of reasons :/

ok wow this was a wild ride. i’m glad you realised that religion has nothing to do with a person’s sexuality. good for you. you saw the light lol. and yes, it might be religion for you but it’s things like that which stop people from thinking zayn and liam could be in an actual relationship - things like, their “manliness” (no joke), because they’re attracted to girls (which tbh nobody even knows how they choose to identify), etc. whereas people are more prone to think louis and harry are together based on “gaydar” which is just a form of heterosexism. it’s a mess really. but anyway, thanks for sharing! ziam is the winning team, trust me. :) x

yeah, she is! and it didn’t really take much. i just told her about how fake zerrie was and then i showed her my ziam/zerrie engagement vid and then she was convinced. and yessss ikr. i was actually surprised at how many people do think something’s happened between ziam. you just have to ask! i think the general consensus is that they’ve had sex but that’s it really? or that zayn was pining for liam, they had sex, and liam’s just too straight to be with zayn but he knows zayn’s in love with him or something? lol. they read liam’s persona so wrong XD

so i’m talking with a LM and perrie stan and this is the most hilarious yet interesting opinion on the matter I’ve heard yet:

I asked them if they really think the cheating thing is true and based on what, they said “he probably has and has been” and “based on the 750 stories going around and the pics of the blonde and him”

so then i said since they think zerrie is real, it’s good they’re not idolising a cheater (since they’re a zayn fan too) but then they said they don’t think zerrie is real. so i’m like ??? they explained they think “he’s fucking around with another girl when in the media, the media narrative is that he’s an enagaged man”

so i asked are you blaming him for purposefully messing this up and wanting to be seen with the girl?

then they just said they don’t give a fuck??? and that’s their conclusion

all in all it made zero sense.
