#4837 people claim to want representation and then it’s literally never good enough no matter what the media is from and who’s making it. There’s a show made for a Chinese audience based on Chinese mythology and an ancient Chinese religious text made to represent the Chinese market and half the fandom race swaps the characters ( including several with historical religious or mythological importance). Unfortunately it’s a way more common thing for fandom to disrespect light skinned POC I guess for not being POC enough or something.
