#fandom ignorance

It's just one clown take after another.

I think the BIGGEST part of being in a fandom, it’s the BEAUTIFUL art of people having different headcanons, a difference in thought. Media is subjective, intimate. Everyone views things in their own ways!

However, to start shitting on someone just for having a different interpretation of things, that’s when it gets disgusting. I LOVE being part of fandoms, but when you get those kinda people (and I’m not generalising, I’ve only met a handful) who spend their days being so negative, and then complaining about other fandom members having a difference in view, it makes you not want to engage with people online for fear of being misinterpreted or just vocally being shit on for not liking certain ships as much???

Like, I completely understand, if someone’s thoughts are extreme/dangerous, then you’d have the right to talk about it. But simply disliking a certain part, does not make you the worst person in the world. It makes you part of the fandom. It shows you’re human, NOT EVERYONE HAS TO ENGAGE IN SOMETHING THEY DO NOT PARTICULARLY LIKE!

What always annoys me is that beside the baffling reasons for someone to be the top, people so often equate ‘I stick my dick in you’ with ‘I’m in control’ LIKE WOW YOU ARE SO SO SO WRONG

I'm totally obsessed with The Mortal Instruments, and especially Jace.

Besides the fact that I think that Jace would be my favorite character.
