So skelliebros what is your opinion on dream and nightmare? I don't remember if anyone ask you that. Or how about the murder or killer or even horror?
Sans: lil shnookie pookies we want to hug the metaphorical stuffing out of. or literal in this case since this is the only way we can right now.
Papyrus:... really hope no versions of them see this. unless they would let us do that to actual versions of them instead of plushies, then hope they do see this.
Sans: i mean i'm pretty sure we could find a dream and he'll let us. maybe even... convince a horror sans to do it to with the right bargaining chip... s.
Papyrus: noooot sure about horror sans... or if that's ethical enough for us to try but dream? talk about a dream come true, heh heh.
(Basically, they would like any Sans and Papyrus (currently can't think of any they would dislike but that could change). Some more than others and in different ways depending on who they are. More below!)
They tend to avoid versions of themselves that have more code influence over them (aka older, popular Sanses and Papyri) since they tend to see them a little more like celebrities of the Multiverse than other thems.
Think of them having more parasocial relationships with more popular/older AU Sanses and Papyri, knowing (lots of bits of) their memories and experiences and knowing those versions of them have zero connection to them in return.
And being more willing to be buddies with newer/less known Sanses and Papyri since they feel less connected to them since there is less code of them floating around that could have made up the Outbound bros' code . I don't know how to explain it fully argh
Also, just saying, Papyrus is more likely to get genuinely attached to other thems than Sans even if they seem to like them equally... Just throwing that out there.

Ohhh! I have things to say about this! Okay, some of these might not classifity as skills but still! I'll say the short, summarised list first then extra stuff under the read more!
Most obvious one is having two forms, Swap and Classic, that they can switch between manually but it can also happen randomly due to random glitches.
They can manipulate their own code to make more or less use of code from different Sanses and Papyri so can alter their personalities and forms how they want... To a degree. It does take effort to manually alter themselves like that so they don't do it willy nilly.
They could make use of powers of the different skellie code in them if they try hard enough (example using Error's lines) but the effort of trying to properly patch together the code to make those powers fully usable isn't worth it for them.
The only non-unique power they can use without issue is bone attacks, 'shortcuts', flying (that og Papyrus can do), Gaster Blasters and Blue magic
Full control of the code in their hub/station so they can make anything they want in that area
Can teleport or make their special portals in any AU they've visited (omega timeline is a little different since Core Frisk only gave them the leeway to use one specific portal they had to make look like a door in place of an actual door into their hub to enter and leave there) Can't teleport to AUs they've never visited but can make portals to them
Also, just as a random con to altering their own code, if they change it too much too fast, they get migraines and/or glitch out. They don't get them if they alter the code in the hub too much though.
So, since the bros are made of lots of little bits of thousands of different Sanses and Papyri, all that code kinda causes a lot of glitches.
Imagine you make code for a game and make it so if you press left arrow, a specific code that like loops specific animation frames and makes character go left happens. But to connect the example to the bros, imagine you press left and have lots of incomplete, mixed up code connected to that command taken from tons of different games and it glitches out your game.
The bros managed to make use of the code in them from other thems that can manipulate code to manipulate their own and basically patch up the worst of the code and make useless code inaccessible unless they go out their way to call on it. (though with how much code there is to sift through there's still code they haven't properly sorted through so still causes them to glitch out)
For their appearances, they did their best to cobble together permanent forms based on what they've seen and the code in them, which resulted in how they look now (ignore the fact there's very few Papyus' that are blue and Sans that are pink, they just like those colours personally). So I guess little redesigns can be seen as them just changing their mind on how they look.
The hub control is just that they've been in that area of the void so long it kind of just began to resonate with them enough for them to alter it's code with as much ease as their own forms.
