My bracket madness begins tomorrow! Hype, hype, hype!!
First up: Favorite Stede quotes in episodes 1x1, 1x2, and 1x3!

First round is going to be Twitter only as it's 8 posts, and that's the place I've chosen to annoy the most! I am putting up the first round of polls in the (American) morning of April 8th.
I am using a tag of "OFMDPolls" for block/mute pleasure on platforms.
How I'm running this thing:
There will be 4 rounds. Rounds 1, 2, 3, and 4 have 24, 12, 6, and 3 contenders, respectively
Each poll will have 3 options. Winner in each poll will go onto the next round
Rounds 1, 2, and 3 will have 8, 4, and 2 polls respectively, and each round will be paired off. The loser in each pair with the most votes will also go to the next round
Round 1 will run for 3 days, and be on Twitter only
Rounds 2, 3, and 4 will run for 2 days, and be on Tumblr, Twitter, and Mastodon. I can't stop people from voting in multiple places ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I will be keep track of comments on what lines people think should have been included in the bracket choices but weren't!
This is designed to entertain me for months and fill a niche of people who like to always voice their opinions in quick online polls! There will be nine bracket things for Stede lines: 6 initially of going through the episodes in groups of three, then having a runoff for S1 and S2 lines that people suggest were missing initially (and I already have a backlog of lines I wanted if people are shy), and then an ultimate faceoff of the 8 winners!!1!111!1

When I get started, I'm going to pin this post and just going to keep editing it with winners and stuff without doing reblogs.
Next series of polls will be a bracket set for favorite characters. Since the season characters polls were...uh...pretty predictable (Stiles won every. single. poll except 6b), hopefully this will give more variety for those participating!
I figured I'd share this before hand, so that if there's any blaring issues beforehand can be brought up.
If a character you love if not included, there was only had so much room for this first round, and we're hoping to have themed brackets in the future.
I'd like to propose a new standard for voting brackets:
If it is anything other than a popularity contest, there needs to be an option for "I don't recognise one of these characters." If the question is, "Who's your favourite character, then sure. Vote for the character you've heard of. But if they're asking anything else, we cannot trust that people who have only heard of one of the characters will accept they do not have enough information to answer the question.
What I mean is, if you see a poll that looks like this:
Who would make a better cake?
Blorbo.
Gulp Shitto.

And people only recognise one name, they will vote for the one they have heard of, except in the extreme case that it is textually stated Gulp Shitto makes terrible cakes, and it can be assumed that any cake in existence would be better than a Gulp Shitto cake. Blorbo might be a classically trained patissier, but if someone does not know that and still wants to click the little button, they will click on the name they recognise.
