Recently, I found the Fandom Blends section of Adagio teas’ website. I bought 9 sample tins spanning a few fandoms (does Halloween and Autumn-inspired count as fandom?) Adagio is one of those brands that I trust implicitly and I have yet to be disappointed.
I’ve tried a cup each from four of the 9 and have been pretty impressed by people’s creations made with a certain character or whatnot in mind. However, I think I’ll pass along one of the tins to my sister. I was pretty excited for the blend called “Sally,” inspired by Sally Ragdoll from The Nightmare Before Christmas, as it has a really intriguing blend of an Earl Grey cream, vanilla and blackberry. However, all I could manage to get from it was a very cloying sweetness that immediately brought to my mind Bubble Tape. :(
A sad conclusion to an anticipated flavor, but I’m not too disheartened. I still have quite a few more cups to drink. :D
