This was her own fault and Luna could already imagine what Zeph was going to have to say about it later. Yes she had done a good job in helping with the heist or whatever he wanted to call it and that had gone off pretty well. Her mistake had been letting too much real information about herself slip. Luna was just a friendly person and hadn’t seen anything wrong with it. Until now.
“It’s been a half hour.” She didn’t move from her spot on the couch as she glanced at the man standing in the corner of her living room. “Be smart, I’d run now because you’re fucked when he gets here and you know Zeph is on his way. That’s why your boss isn’t calling.” And she really didn’t want to spend the night cleaning up blood. “You pointed a gun at me and you hit me. You’re a dead man.” The sound of someone coming through the kitchen made her smile. It was almost funny that people didn’t realize there was another entrance to her apartment through the flower shop. “Looks like he’s here.”
