Thereās not a whole lot more to it, but I went back and reread the emails since itād been so long and I couldnāt remember the details (this was back in March of 2015)... And I feel kind of bad about it now. I was quite nice to her the whole exchange, and when I could tell she had a lot of internalized homophobia/biphobia I tried to comfort her. But almost immediately she turned it to flirtation, and said she couldnāt stop thinking about me and it was meant to be that sheād sent the original message to the wrong email. She even sent me a Christmas greeting nine months later, after I let the whole thing fizzle out because I was uncomfortable.
I donāt think she was trying to be weird about it. I get the impression that she was very lonely and trying to cling to the first person who was nice to her and didnāt judge her for being queer/having an affair. Thatās extremely relatable. So I really hope that she eventually found ways to openly be her true self and is happy now.
