Just a few more tweaks and....done! Kurt smiled and gave Forge a quick thumbs up from where he stood a few feet away. It was for security reasons really, in case it would explode, is what he told him. Really reassuring honestly. 

Kurt tried to think of where he wanted to go. They had been working on this little device together for a while now, something of a test to see if they could increase his teleporting ability. Granted he was doing alright by himself and with his bamfs, but it was mainly the principle of the experiment that they were thinking about. 

The blue man grinned for a moment when he finally chose a location. There was a church he knew, it was far enough from the institute for them to actually test this thing. He gave a signal to Forge and a few moments later he was gone. Now just to see if it worked! 

When Kurt reappeared he felt like his stomach had been left behind at the institute. His head didn’t stop spinning and for a few moments neither did the world. This must be how it felt like for others that teleported with him. He waited until he was sure he’d be able to walk in a straight line before he looked around. Well it was a church, but not the one he had been aiming at. Now....where in the world was he?
