**ITS ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE**
As far as I've been able to glean, SpiderForest is similar to Hiveworks in that it's a webcomic collective, but is not-for-profit and generally feels more like... a circle of colleagues as opposed to a Business, if that makes sense. You would ahve to apply for it like Hiveworks, but given your experience I can't imagine you wouldn't get in?
It would be nice to interact with fellow comic-makers in a set group... I'm going to do some research on what it takes to get in and what the culture's like, if I can, and we'll see how that goes!
Oh man, I would definitely NOT prefer tapastic or webtoon. I use RSS feeds to keep caught up with my fave webcomics and they make those as difficult to find as possible. Instead, may I suggest the Spiderforest collective or comicfury? They use very traditionally styled page by page layouts and as far as I can tell are easily customized. :3
This is the second time I've gotten a warning against those sites and a suggestion for Comicfury. So far as my searching has gone, CF seems pretty legit, so I might go there. Never heard of Spiderforest, though!
