Friday I had one of the best family sessions I had to date. Chelsea Hightower contacted me about taking some Fall family photos in downtown Lake Park, NC and of course I was thrilled. Chelsea, Matt Hightower, both serving in our US military, recently moved here from Iowa with their two beautiful children and one on the way! This family is so beautiful inside and out and I am so excited to help them along on this new journey.

JB and Kayla | Patriotic Love
JB asked me a a few weeks ago if I'd be willing to do a shoot for him and his girlfriend. He began to tell me about his roll in our US military as an infantryman. I began to get emotional. JB spend four years in a desert not knowing if he'd live or die or see his loved ones again.. He also told me he hit some rough patches upon his return and that this session would mean everything to him. Somewhat of a turning a new leaf, as he put it., You can say I was beyond stoked to do this. This was by far the most fun, dear-hearted session I have ever done. It is sessions like this that make me love what I do.
