falling asleep mid conversation and i wake up 8 hours later and we’re still in the same position and i go back to sleep and wake up to him hacking up post drug addiction drip and then he gets back in bed and we sleep for 2 more hours ❤️
I’ve been thinking about how many of the fall aesthetic posts I reblog basically show leisure time. Walks in the woods. Coffee or tea and books. Cuddling with pets. And honestly . . . THAT is the fantasy every bit as much as cooler weather is.
Actually, the only time that following seasonal blogs isn’t depressing as hell is right now. Because now, it’s not actually fall anywhere in the western hemisphere. Everyone who loves fall is missing it now. But in two months, there will be post after post of people being ecstatic because it’s finally fall!!
Except here, and some other hellishly hot places, where the end of August is actually the middle of summer. “Slutty” costumes are popular in the bible belt because it’s literally still too hot to wear anything else! And by the time it finally, finally starts to feel like fall . . . it’s almost Christmas! And my dash is covered with pictures of lights and snow (though plenty of “cold’ climates haven’t had white Christmases in recent years bc fucking global warming).
So, all this to warn you that you’re probably about to see lots of pictures of stormy skies and red/orange/gold trees on this blog.
