A Call for Help
@falin-nimleth, as discussed
A bird had come with a letter, all the way from Nevarra. A message for Falin, from her clan. They were in need of urgent assistance it seemed, and so when her friend informed her of the situation, the Inquisitor made the necessary arrangements to accompany her, along with a party of good soldiers and a couple of her inner Circle. The trip to Nevarra was long, and with Corypheus’ forces all across Thedas there was no way she was sending Falin to travel alone. She’d come along herself.
For now, luck had been on their side. They had only had a few encounters with Venatori on the way, from all which they had come out victorious. Aylen only hoped that what was left of the journey- which shouldn’t be too much, considering they were already inside Nevarran territory- would go uneventful and smoothly.
She rode Orion next to Falin’s horse, the hart moving forward with calm strides and the occasional huff. “I hope your clan still remains where they said they were by the time the letter was sent. If it is so, we should only have a few hours of travel ahead of us.” All depending on whether the clan had moved or not.
“As soon as we stop for a rest, I’ll have a look around for signs of them, aye?” A a huntress of her own clan, Aylen was quite a good tracker. That meant, she could also recognize the places where people had roamed not so long ago. If Falin’s clan was anywhere nearby, she could scout and find them... Well, if they weren’t aware of their presence already. It wasn’t rare for clans to send out their hunters to spy on travelers.
