Puedes lacerar el amor, repudiarlo, arrancártelo del corazón, pero él siempre sabrá cómo encontrarte.
Erin Doom: Fabricante de lágrimas
Long live the king. (A Leona Kingscholar drabble)
Vaguely based upon the song 'Brutus' by The Buttress
Cw: follows part of the original Lion King movie. Iykyk
-----
The Lion before him was unfamiliar. His face was obscured by the haze of sleep. He had no name, nothing but the title that easily slipped into his mind each time he caught the lions gaze: brother. It is the same feeling he gets when his gaze meets another, skinnier, and far weaker than the other; a Lion he can only know as 'himself'
He'd watch and feel 'himself' sneer at his 'brother', feel the contempt wash along him in waves until it consumes his very mind. He feels hatred for the lion, so much so that he can almost feel himself dig his very claws into the flesh...
The cliffside is steep, and before it, he sees the Lion that was the subject of his hatred holding on so desperately to the ledge. He begs for help and cries out to him as his brother... but the other lion is gone now.
It is him that sinks claws into fur and flesh, a wicked smirk as he leans down towards the fearful lion who had always been his better.
Who was the better brother now?
He can feel himself mouth the same four words that came with the death of a king. His eyes meet the other one last time before the bell rings for his demise.
But instead of the lion, he only sees Falena falling.
just watched the tearsmith… it was definitely something, just wasnt able to find if it was good or awful yet
