The Detroit-based team at Falcon Motor Sports wanted to show Italian engineers and supercar drivers who’s boss , which is why they put their mind together and came up with this. The Falcon F7 supercar. You could tell just by looking at it that it was built with a purpose, and that is to make you eat its dust.
The 2-door sports car was built on a lightweight monocoque chassis, by using a blend of aluminum, carbon fiber, and Kevlar. This means a lower weight while maintaining safety standards. Low weight usually means more speed, and once you think about the Lingenfelter-built V8 engine hiding under the bonnet, developing 1,100 hp, mated to a six-speed dual clutch transmission, you get the idea.
The Falcon F7 will do 0 to 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 200 mph; as such, the over-sized Brembo carbon ceramic brakes on all four corners come in handy. On the inside, the driver will appreciate a handcrafted leather interior, while an in-dash iPad mini provides complete control of the entertaining. Please note that the car features a removable targa roof, perfect for staying back at home on a beautiful summer nights. Surely, all of that is worth $195,000, wouldn’t you say?
