trigger warnings: buried alive mention, death mention
It was dark and hard to breath. He was suffocating as he was clawing his way up and out of the pile of dirt above him. How he escaped, he can’t remember, he barely understood how he even got there. All he knows was that he was dying and he needed to escape, but...
Eyes looked up at the night sky, lost in the world. What was the last thing he remembered? He was dragged in by the neck. Choking. Barely able to breath. He was punished, the excruciating pain he went through was something his body ached from. His face must be a mess right now, his bones were most likely sore from being broken, he must look filthy after clawing through so much dirt...
He looked down, looking at his hands and body. He was naked, stripped of his clothes, after all a dead person didn’t need them. But that wasn’t the problem. He was unscathed. Perfectly healed, as if he had never broken a single bone in his body. A hand clenched and unclenched as he stared at it for so long. His body was fine. No pain. Nothing.
So. Did I not die? I was thrown out. Rocket abandoned me. I guess that means I can go away and live a normal life.
A vision of a peaceful life, a life before Rocket. Just some kid who stayed at pokecenters and lived off the pity of others. No. He was a grown man now. That cute trick won’t work anymore. With no job and knowing that Team Rocket had eyes everywhere. It was no use in hiding. He’d be dragged in again for questions. How he escaped this time. How he survived death. Even if he changed his name again, even if he got plastic surgery...Rocket would find him. It was best to turn himself in. Maybe they’ll let him off easy. With just a warning...
He closed his eyes before giving a sigh...it was best to get some clothes first.
