Barley & Rye is happy to be a part of the harvest festival! Running a stall selling special seasonal pastries, desserts and bread for a limited time during the month. From intriguing desserts like corn custard pudding, sweet potato ice cream, stoofpeertjes (stewed pear), and pumpkin bagels, to your heartwarming classics of spiced pumpkin pie, chestnut bread and a de Visser’s special - dutch apple crumble vlaai. 

A small variety will be available daily in limited quantities until sold out, but check back often! The bakery team may just be struck by inspiration from the harvest festival and come up with new ideas throughout the month. 

The owner Tomas will also hold a baking class once during the month, so don’t miss out if you’d like to try your hand at learning one of their recipes!

Jonah Fisher will be offering up a wide variety of tattoos picked from a sheet hand drawn by the owner himself. Some are spooky or fall themed and others are just for fun. All unique, there will be no duplicates and no exceptions. Flash pricing is being offered for all, customizations can be negotiated for an extra fee. Each appointment will last approximately an hour and everything is first come first serve.

Stop by the merchant booths at the fairgrounds for your opportunity to listen to some old favorites through wireless headphones. Dance with others as they join in and choose what music they are feeling at the moment from one of the five different options Emerson Blackwell or the staff have hand picked out to facilitate the moment's vibes. While you're there, why not pick up some new or restored vinyl for your personal collection? It's sure to lift your spirits!
