1:44:41 total time 7:59 pace Temp was in the 80s and I needed a nice confidence booster after the Quassy implosion. Despite the heat I managed to hold an 8:00-8:10 pace for the first 6 miles. Then I picked it up to 7:45-8:00. I just took course water and skipped the gels. I got small stitch in my side at mile 12 but nothing that slowed me down. The support on the course was pretty awesome, I forgot about the bands and people with signs. This year they had changed up the course to avoid 3-4 hills. There were still 3 relatively big ones but overall the course was much more flat than last year.
