Wow, I don’t even know how to start. I’m at a loss of words. That was so sweet. I’ve never listened to that song, but the way you put it just made me realize that it represented the story really well. I’m gonna listen to that song (and probably cry my eyes out).
Honestly, I was going to give it a different ending. At first, I had two options: an open ending or Dean would kill death just like on the show. I almost stuck to the second one and the title would be different too (The world be damned). But why not make it painful?
I must confess that I’m tempted to write a part 2. I couldn’t sleep last night and this whole idea of writing a second part came up to me. I might write it, but it’s gonna be just as painful. Sorry. It’s just that I can’t think of a way of giving it a happy ending without contradicting myself. Maybe a happy middle? I’ve got my hands full right now, so if I do write a second part it’s probably gonna take a little while.
