My unpopular opinion about this character:

this is gonna get used in receipts later but as awful as everyone thought he was before his backstory was revealed, i feel like pretty much everything he did over the course of the show (except maybe gates) was understandable? and that it’s not completely his fault that he had to make the tough decisions most of the time? i’m gonna remember something horrible after i post this and look like an asshole but
