It makes me feel very sad and angry that there are people who would subject traumatized/mentally ill people to things that are harmful when in a regressed head space, especially when they don't consent to the interaction, but the world we live in is not always kind.

AND it’s FUCKING SHORT

Life is nothing more than exponential decay. Live responsibly. Live appropriately.

And I feel the ominous dread of the Monthly Fae crossing over into our world to bring me to their court at Santander.

So I remember my grandma and her sisters cooing over me and playing with me and laughing at me being rambunctious, but I specifically remember being young and overhearing my aunt telling my grandma and her sisters to stop encouraging me from acting like I wasn’t human and to quit teaching me the Ways(I.e. basic magic/energy manipulation and how to handle my Sight and interact with spirits) and I remember my Great Aunt telling her to watch me and realize that something was different about me. That I was of a different kind and soul. I didn’t know what that meant so later I went to my grandma and Great Aunt who were sitting on the couch in the living room and asked why I wasn’t normal. My grandma patted my head and hugged me and my Great Aunt told me that a babies soul doesn’t inhabit their body till it takes its first breath. And sometimes spirits will slip in and live in the physical world. They told me a yinehi spirit was my soul. So young me was confused and weirded out and ran off to play with friends I guess. But as I have gotten older I have seen the truth in those words. Something about me is a little different than this world. I relate to the Fae spirits I talk to so much more than I do with humans. I really only relate to humans when talking about emotions. Magic is in my blood in my soul and growing up that was only excepted my grandma and her sisters otherwise it was shunned. I catch myself sometimes looking in the mirror and noticing I look different before it fades back to normal (I work with glamours so I usually chalk it up to this but still) I’ll notice my steps are a little TOO commanding, a little TOO graceful, that my words are silvered and sink in and influence people. Sometimes I hate myself for being different and yet sometimes I’m intoxicated with my more exotic wild traits. Now I know this is what it means to be a Fae in a human body.

Today I stumbled upon a young Fae in a pond while I was on a hike. He kind of looked like a very long, 6 legged axolotl. He also had very long fingers and several feelers along his jaw. His coloring was of whites and blues and gold but it was all muted and covered in black and icky green muck. Somebody had thrown barrels of waste in the water and you could really just sense as well as see the toxicity of the pond (this pond is a little bigger than a large swimming pool). Well I noticed him sluggishly gliding through the water and I could see his energy fading. I’m Fae terms he was probably but a child and I didn’t see any other Fae around. In fact I barely saw any life around. Well I decided this young Fae needed help so I settled down in the grass by the pond and asked him what happened. This young Fae lived there with several others like him (he didn’t explicitly say his family but it was insinuated) and apparently the toxins from the waste in the pond killed them and all of the fish and most of the aquatic plants. He was confused and scared and didn’t know where to go. So I asked him if he would like me to take him somewhere else and help him find a new home. I even called upon Nadia the Fae I am in contract with to prove that I was being truthful as well as to prove I was a friend. After coaxing I gathered him up in a large mason jar i had(I always carry a plethora of jars ,etc on a hike Incase I want to gather or store anything) well my family has a small lake on our property and i knew the young Fae would have plenty of space to grow and live there and after coaxing and introducing him to the local spirits he is happy there. I have also called the local wildlife services and notified them of the toxic lake and it’s location so they can clean it up. Moral of the story is always take time to pay attention and listen to the stories of others because there may be a way for you to help!!

So I don’t think people realize this but Fae have religion too. It may not be similar to ours, but they do. For instance there is a community I know of that specifically worships the draconic spirit and magic. The religious leaders run it all and it usually a “family” line thing. The leading family is whoever has the most draconic presence in their essence. It’s actually really cool and their magic is completely and totally different and separate from most other Fae magics.
