This is an AU and thus the personalities of the different major characters are slightly different. Undyne: Infinitely more stoic and angry, Undyne is scary beyond what she is in canon. She rarely interacts with the citizens of Waterfall, which suits them all just fine. She spends most of her time swimming through the waterways, patrolling her borders. When she isn't doing that, she is in the Garbage Dump, studying humans. Despite her physical strength, shes never tried to attack any of the neighboring factions. She says its because she cant stand the heat or the cold, which is only part of the reason. The real reason is that she doesn't want to hurt other monsters- she wants to attack the humans, who she blames for the state of the underground (plus the one dinosaur scientist is really cute, and that skeleton Boss seems like a cool dude). Her hatred for humans borders on obsessive. She cant do anything about it though, and she chooses to stay isolated in Waterfall, letting Gerson take care of her citizens while she endlessly patrols and trains.

This is an AU and thus the personalities of the different major characters are slightly different. Sans: Sans is a bit less apathetic then in canon. The second a human arrives through the Ruins Doors, he shows himself to them and proceeds to smuggle Frisk through Snowdin, keeping them from meeting Papyrus. Sans also knows that Papyrus needs one more Soul to be able to challenge the other Bosses, but Sans doesn't want to risk losing Papyrus too (not after Gaster, Sans cant lose another brother) Sans is unwilling to leave Snowdin however; instead he gives you his phone number. Sans is a lot less laid-back though; he's been in enough skirmishes with Waterfall inhabitants to be wary and battle-worn. He doesn't hide his abilities from Frisk either; Sans usually has A Gaster-Blaster on lookout.

This is an AU and thus the personalities of the different major characters are slightly different. Papyrus: There is no Royal Guard, so Papyrus wants to capture a Hunan for the sake of gaining more power and expanding his Faction's Territory. Papyrus is a less innocent and naïve then his canon portrayal. He knows that Snowdin is the weakest Faction, and tries to make up for it by being aggresive and over-confident. He also knows that if he gets just one more human Soul, he could challenge either Hotland or Waterfall with a pretty good chance of success (at least thats what he thinks). Papyrus is also a lot more powerful and not so goofy; while he still enjoys puzzles and cooking, he is usually more preoccupied with patrolling the borders and making sure that ice production is going smoothly. Papyrus isn't just a warrior, he's also a proper leader who has to think and care for and provide for an entire factions worth of citizens.

This is an AU and thus the personalities of the different major characters are different. *Toriel: Still very kind and motherly, but unlike her Canon portrayal, she is a lot more interested in the other Factions and she is very devious. She wont let Monsters into the Ruins unless they give her a secret of another Faction or Monster (However, if you tell her a pun that she's never heard before, she let you in too). She has notebooks filled with secrets and gossip. Her goal is to one day be able to enlist some of the other Boss Monsters into helping her overthrow Asgore--she is not above blackmailing the other Bosses though. She already has a pretty Powerful MiniBoss on her side already; Muffet. Toriel wont attack another monster though, unless its self-defense.

There is a hierarchy between the Factions based on how many Human Souls each Faction Guardian has in their Possession, as well as the Magical Prowess of the Guardian and Resources provided. There are Six Human Souls that had already been Harvested, not counting Chara or Frisk. -The Castle/Core Faction (C-faction for short): in possession of Two Human Souls-- The Cyan and Purple Soul. Asgore is the most Powerful Boss, plus he is in control of the Core, making the C-Faction the most Powerful Faction. -The Waterfall: In possession of Two Human Souls. Gerson, the previous Boss, was the one to Harvest the Orange and Green Soul; Undyne never fought a Human. She is the second most dangerous Boss, plus she controls the Garbage Dump--the only way the Factions can learn about Humans-- as well as the waterways. -The Hotland Faction: Only in possession of one Soul, the Yellow Soul. However, Hotland controls the airwaves underground: All entertainment comes from Hotland. Also, Alphys' Labs are in Hotland... -Snowdin: Papyrus never killed a human; the Blue Soul just appeared in his home one day sealed in a jar (there was a note attached, but it was just a bunch of symbols). Snowdin is also the biggest and most expansive Faction, and provide the ice vital to the Core. Its still the weakest Faction. -The Ruins: despite not having a single Human Soul, the Ruins Guardian, Toriel, is just as powerful as Asgore. Despite both of these things, the Ruins are never on the Radar due to the fact that they are self-sustaining.
