Faction Spotlight: Steel Workers Union
A Brotherhood of Steel splinter faction dedicated to understanding old world technology and using it to help the people of the wasteland rather than keeping it hidden, they split off from the East Coast Brotherhood after Arthur Maxson's appointment as Elder as internal tensions reached a breaking point. Still going through growing pains as they try to cement themselves as a stable organization, with the Old Guard—members who had been part of the Brotherhood—trying to adjust to the world they find themselves in and come to terms with how much of what they believed to be truth actually being indoctrination.
Led by a reclusive super mutant known only as the Foreman—who seems to have some ties to the East Coast Brotherhood himself—, they inhabit a prewar aircraft plant and control one of the largest pieces of territory in Avaton.
They are trying to be a stabilizing force in the area, but the tension between them and the Aces, reports of an outside threat coming from the West, and the tension within their own faction between Old Guard and newcomers provide roadblocks to what many of them wish to achieve.
