How was your weekend? Which is the recent flick you’ve watched? I watched “Home” this weekend and liked it 🙂 Animated movies are always stress buster 🙂

Last week I have shared my mini haul here and promised that reviews will be up soon 🙂 So here i am with review of one of the purchases from that haul : Faces MagnetEyes Kajal.

I have mentioned before also that I like Faces Kajal and eyeliners as they used to be quite budget friendly(though they have increased the prices now 🙁 ), So When I spotted this Kajal by faces at cheapest price then I added it to the cart without a second thought 🙂 And oh boy! was I disappointed??? Read on to know..

175/- INR for 0.35 gm. Shelf-life of 30 months.

Ingredients:

Not mentioned anywhere.

Packaging:

It comes in a red-black-white card board packaging which holds a beautiful pinky red(Oh yeah!!! now you can jazz up the boring liner holder) retractable pencil with a cap that shuts tightly 🙂 I love love love the beautiful retractable pencil.

The pencil is sleek and tip is very nice, if you apply it holding slant then you can achieve thin line as well.

Texture and pigmentation:

As soon as i swiped it on my hand I was like holy moly!!! it is super creamy, super soft and super black. It glides like a dream on waterline as well as lashline almost felt like gel liner when applied. No tugging/pulling.

And pigmentation is opaque jet black(blacker than maybelline colossal and Lakme eyeconic black) in single swipe. see the swatches and you won’t be able to make any difference in 1 and 3 swipe swatch.

Performance:

Now coming to the performance of Faces magneteyes kajal.  It is absolutely water proof, sweat-proof(i wore it to gym still no panda eyes 🙂 ) and once set it is smudge-proof for about 7 hours on my eyes after that it smudges very little to give soft smokey look, nothing major. And thankfully it doesn’t accumulate at corner of the eyes like maybelline colossal and it is softer than colossal.

It applies easily and color is jet black with a sheen but once it sets it becomes matte.Here is a closer look. When applied as liner on lashline it can transfer a little on lids if you won’t let it set. So let it set and it is smudge proof for about 8 hours.

I love to smudge it sometimes and then don’t set it with eyeshadow, still it doe not bleed or give panda eyes. And you will have to remove it with a good makeup remover or oil.

  What I like about Faces magneteyes kajal:

bright and travel friendly packaging.(I carry it in my wallet).

Jet black in single swipe.

Doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes.

fragrance free.

Stays upto 8 hours on my eyes.

Can be smudged quickly for soft smoky look.

Once set it is water proof, sweat-proof and smudge-proof.

It jazz up my eyes(I love how black it looks even on waterline).

at a steal price 🙂

What I don’t like about Faces magneteyes kajal:

no ingredient list.(I don’t mind it for this particular kajal as i have used faces products and they did not irritate my eyes).

Can smudge or transfer a little if not let it set properly.

Final Verdict: 4.7/5

I love it and gonna repurchase it. I definitely recommend you all to try it. It is a good replacement for colossal and eyeconic and cheaper too. I am absolutely loving it. It is my new found love in affordable kajals 🙂
