One Year
Yesterday was my one year NYC-aversary.
Here's what I posted on Facebook: "a list of things at 5:47pm on friday, august 22, 2014 - today is my ONE YEAR NYC-AVERSARY. at this time last year, i was just taking off from my layover in salt lake city. - i've gotten really good at getting in and out of trader joe's in about twenty minutes flat. (hint: shop in line) - it is SO time to go back to school. - [insert sentimental crap here] what a year this day has been. what a day this year has been." Last year, on this day, my first full day in New York, I went to the American Museum of Natural History and then to Shake Shack.

You know, all that considered, it doesn't feel like that much has actually changed but I think it really has. What all those changes are, I don't think I can articulate quite yet. That's something for next year. Here's to year number two!
