“To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.” - Oscar Wilde
(There are better quotes in my opinion but this works in context.)
Baz is feeling a bit Wilde today. ;). (Also I can draw hands. I just didn’t wanna. ;) )
If you forgive my bad pun, I’ve been surfing around for pic inspiration and honestly forgot how I bumped into this idea. I really wanted to do the more iconic bored with a cane picture and make it bored with a wand but with the fur coat and likely proportion alterations, I wussed out. Apparently, Oscar Wilde was a something of a beast of a man. It’s not the best Baz. I’d love to be one of those artists that can use bold and angular lines to make sharp and strong faces, but alas, it seems to be a physical impossibility for me. Soft and curvy seems to be where I end up. Or maybe it’s the softer lead pencils. He should probably have at least one pocket to put a hand in.
I’m also aware that his head is angled a little forward and down when it should be back and up. I wasn’t sure how to fix that, but probably my altering the hairline and face shade. Also didn’t wanna. Maybe today was a day for some melancholy aesthetic over wistful.
Scanned in greyscale to hide my original blue sketch pencil lines.
I was also super bored around the same time and made this thing as an experiment. Needs some widows peak. I’m never letting that go:
Someone one help me escape this fandom. It’s invading all my literary head space.
