So, fairyprincesskendra, eriskind, and anons are alleging (or heavily implying) that @fablehavenistheshit is copying her aesthetic, post style, and general online persona. Here’s why they’re wrong and shouldn’t be so quick to make such serious accusations.

Note to readers: fairyprincesskendra and fablehavenshitposts are the same person.

ALLEGATION 1- The posts on fablehavenistheshit are the same as the posts on fablehavenshitposts

EVIDENCE THAT THE ALLEGATION IS BEING MADE-

eriskind to fablehavenshitposts: “Then I saw the content and saw you say it wasn’t yours and it made me severely uncomfortable with how close it is”

anonymous to fablehavenshitposts: “The main type of posts they make are chat posts. Just. Like. You. Honey, don’t let them take your hard work and copy it just so they gain more followers.”

anonymous to fairyprincesskendra: “Fablehavenistheshit and Fablehavenshitposts have the same vibe, and you usually do chat posts and now they are too. I don’t know it’s just weird someone would steal your shitpost blog idea so blantantly. :/“

WHY THEY’RE WRONG-

Having mainly chat posts isn’t stealing. It’s not original to her. They’re incredibly easy to make. Other personalities like carolinelovesdinner, centaurs-are-jerks, and fairyprincessofthedragons create a lot of text posts. She didn’t even pioneer chat posts in the Fablehaven fandom- go to the fablehaven Tag and check under chat. There’s no directly stolen content either. In fact, a lot of her posts are based on vines or popular internet conversations in the vein of “incorrect-x-quotes” blogs.

ALLEGATION 2- The blog style/ aesthetic is similar/the same

EVIDENCE THAT THE ALLEGATION IS BEING MADE:

fablehavenshitposts to princesssarcastia: “yeah, it’s just the whole concept of their blog is kinda.... my blog??? like even down to having the word shit in their url and their icon being a solid color with something written on it [...] it kinda just feels like they took my blog changed it and called it theirs”

anonymous to fablehavenshitposts: “Girl, they are straight up snatching you aesthetic and feel of your whole blog here. No.1.- They have a very similar url No.2.- They even have a similar icon- solid color background with blog name in it.”

WHY THEY’RE WRONG-

Having the word shit in your url isn’t copying. My main blog, @silvermyth872 is titled it “hetalia shitposts” but couldn’t be called it in the url because too many people had already taken it. The colloquialisms “shitposts” and “the shit” have entirely different meanings, one of them having a jokingly negative connotation and one having an extremely positive connotation. Having a solid coloured icon with something written on it is also not copying. It’s quite popular by tumblr/instagram aesthetic conventions. Carolinelovesdinner and Candlemouse also abide by those conventions, and they’re certainly not copying.

IN DEFENSE OF MYSELF-

Seth:

Seth really wouldn’t be okay with it. He acts like he’s all tough and not scared of anything, but he’s TERRIFIED of getting sick. He loves you though, so he wouldn’t want to avoid you. He’d still bring you water or soup or whatever you need and he’d sit by you and keep you company, but only on a strictly no touching policy. He’d also spray LOADS of disinfectant in the air and wipe down everything in your room with Lysol wipes. After seeing you, he’d wash his hands at least six times, take a shower, and probably wash all of the clothes he was wearing at the time. Just in case. Honestly you wouldn’t be surprised if he came into your room wearing gloves and a mask.

Warren:

Warren would probably have every intention to make you soup or something from scratch, but end up settling for microwave ramen. Not that you care, because it’s the thought that counts and you appreciated that he was trying. He also really wouldn’t care if you’re contagious. He’d still want to be close to you. So despite you warning him that he’ll get sick too, he’d still hold your hand and cuddle with you and kiss you and all of that jazz, INSISTING that he’ll be fine. But as soon as you get better, Warren would get sick and then it would be your turn to take care of him.

Tanu:

Tanu would really want to fix it. He’d give you a million different potions and herbs in an attempt to make you better immediately. And though they might have helped a little, your sickness always persisted. If he were the type to ever get frustrated, this would be the moment. After all, he’s a healer, he should be able to heal you! You’d tell him to let it go and just let the sickness go away on it’s own and he’d “promise” that he would, but he’d still slip potions into your soup or find indiscreet ways to keep trying.

Dale:

Yup, that is right :) it’s 2019 and I’ve been a fan of Fablehaven since I read the books(for the first time, that is; I’ve read the whole series like 5 times now) in... 2012, I think? I’ve just never been particularly active in the Internet fandom.

And now I’m supper happy about the Dragonwatch and I can’t wait for the third book to come out!
