The elf had offered to rub his back and was giving him a rather seductive grin… Normally that would entice someone or make them scared. In this case, it both excited and terrified the Qun. His dark eyes scanned over the elf’s tattooed face and he frowned down at him. Was this man an assassin or a prostitute? Judging by the armor, he’d say that he was an assassin… and he’d seen those daggers before.
And then he realized that he really was too tired to give much of a damn about his life anymore and thus forlornly agreed. “Whatever you’re planning, make it quick and painless.”
Smile widening, Zevran slipped behind the Qunari's chair, relaxing subtly as he put his back to the tavern wall and leaned closer to murmur into his ear. Even sitting, he was tall enough that the assassin could rest his chin on one powerful shoulder without bending down, if he'd felt so inclined. His stern self-recrimination of how poor a time it was to be distracted was only partially successful-- restraint was no strength of his, at least in this regard.
"I plan nothing nefarious, il mio nuovo amico. Or at least-- not for you. I merely require a... diversion of sorts." His hands had found the other man's shoulders as he spoke and Zevran paused, his hands lightly kneading the generous swell of muscle there as he courteously waited a few more moments for a possible change of heart before he continued.
"And you are a most pleasant diversion indeed. I am Zevran, formerly of the Antivan Crows. Might I have the name of my most valiant rescuer?"
