hey there luci! I was reading up about the 2022 season, and sorry to bring up bad memories but what were they trying to fix when they messed up the upgrades? i know there were engine issues as well but the car went from sharp front end to not having it at all iirc? i am aware of the conspiracy theories but i dont know much, and you seem like the person who would have an idea of the technical side. if you could point me to the right direction that is okay too.

I am currently working on a very long article going over all of Ferrari's 2022 season, including the car and the upgrade developments.

I will say this, because it kind of applies to what we are dealing with now(and also part of 2023), that when you have a car with a stronger front end (or at least with that being the goal) and instability becomes an issue the easiest way to add some stability back is to work in some understeer to balance it out. It's a band aid solution and often doesn't make the car better per se, but it does make it drivable. Obviously when this has been done in the past it has been more of an issue for Charles as he prefers oversteer.
