We are re-opening VA submissions for our CHILD ROLES, as we opened those roles late on our initial CCC page and would like to give opportunity for more VAs to send in their auditions — as well as a couple of SIDE ROLES which we would like to hear auditions for.

Email applications are currently open for portfolio submissions, but a very fair warning that we will likely not be in touch for a short while as we sort through other areas of the project, and organise vacancies in our pre-production and promotional animation team properly. It may be more practical to wait before submitting in that sense, but as long as you do not mind waiting we are happy to receive portfolios now!
We will likely begin to select animators for our concept trailer around the end of June, but please do note that this is not a solid deadline. Should we need to extend this, we will be in touch with our applicants. We may also be in touch sooner for other promotional projects.
At this time, it is all considerably more fluctuating than it would be for our final pilot production due to the nature of our current crowdfunding and the early organisational period, so please keep that in mind before applying.
Thank you so much for your interest in our project!
ugh I am already obsessed with this pilot despite discovering it like 5 minutes ago. you guys are tempting me to buy a copy of the 1818 text since I only have an 1831 copy of frankenstein
We’re so glad! Unfortunately we have been sorting more so through the little details of pre-production organisation lately and don’t have much to share publicly right now, but we appreciate the continued support immensely and humbly ask that everyone bear with for the time being! We have some exciting announcements planned for the near future…

Where will the series be streaming when it gets there? YouTube..?
Yep! We’ll be posting the pilot to YouTube and Newgrounds. We may consider other platforms as well closer to the time but from the start it has been fundamentally conceived as a YouTube series

This last blow overcame her; and she knelt by Beaufort’s coffin, weeping bitterly, when my father entered the chamber. He came like a protecting spirit to the poor girl, who committed herself to his care, and after the interment of his friend he conducted her to Geneva, and placed her under the protection of a relation. Two years after this event Caroline became his wife.
As our adaptation will focus heavily upon the institution of marriage and abuse of it, my co-director and I were discussing the idea of a much younger Caroline specifically — the idea that, given the strange absence of information that Victor provides regarding the interlude between Beaufort’s death and his parents marriage, it wouldn’t be unsurprising if there was a more damning reason why this was the case. I was considering a 14 year old Caroline at the age of Beaufort’s death, making her sixteen when she marries Alphonse, which would be a generally acceptable age for a young bride. A younger Caroline would also make a lot of sense for how naive she appears and how entrenched in her fantasies she is with regard to Victor and Elizabeth, if her developmental teenage years were spent in Alphonse’s care, it would make more sense for this behaviour to be more internalised within her. Our commentary on the abuse of marriage would be stronger with a younger Caroline also.
