Hi! If you know Eyre from Universe 3, could you share something about him and the reader? Perhaps the reader is from Universe 7 and is into Transformers and other robots. Eyre himself was in that universe to talk to Shin. The reader and Eyre were drawn to each other's interests (I mean literally, the mention of a hobby and they look at each other), and the first thing the reader might ask is, "What do you think about robot guts?" and Eyre immediately starts telling them all about robots in their universe.
Eyre was sent to Universe 7 for a reason.
He was supposed to talk to Shin and share some info. It was a task.
Then he heard someone excitedly explaining the difference between a Cybertronian spark chamber and a fuel processor to a confused Kibito. That was it his mission was forgotten.
He turned to see who was talking.
Across the courtyard was someone from Universe 7.
It was you.
You were holding a robot toy.
You both stared at each other.
"…Robots?" you asked.
"…Robots " Eyre said.
There was a silence.
Then you pointed at him.
"What do you think about robot parts?"
Shin, who had just arrived looked shocked.
Eyre looked happy.
"Oh they're really interesting."
You were surprised.
Eyre was surprised too.
Shin realized he had lost Eyres attention.
For the three hours you both kept talking.
It turned out Universe 3 had advanced mechanical civilizations, artificial lifeforms and robots. There was a lot of research on robotics.
You introduced Eyre to Transformers.
"Wait they're robots that turn into cars?"
"Yes."
"And they have groups?"
"Yes."
"And histories?"
"Yes."
"And emotional problems?"
" Lots of emotional problems."
Eyre wanted to know everything.
When Shin finally found Eyre he was sitting next to you. You both were debating whether robot parts were like organs.
"They definitely are " Eyre said.
"They're, like equivalent versions."
"Exactly!"
"Exactly!"
Shin looked stunned.
You both had somehow drawn diagrams.
Neither of you had diagrams before.
"Kaio Eyre."
No answer.
"KAIO EYRE."
Still no answer.
You and Eyre were arguing about whether robot parts should be considered like skeletons.
Shin rubbed his head.
Meanwhile in Universe 3 Mosco got a message that Eyre's meeting was delayed. He had found someone who liked robots.
The reply came away.
"Understandable."
