Hello, may I ask, did you make the eyes for your splatoon doll? If not, where did you purchase them? I am making one of my own and am having great difficulty finding out where everyone is getting then.
I made them with 10/12mm glass cabochons! I just printed my design on paper and glued it to the back of the dome, then cut it out.
You will need a glue that sticks to glass and paper, goes on smoothly and dries clear (I used mod podge), or clear resin and a way to cure it.
Higher domes will look 'deeper' and have a stronger following-the-viewer effect, lower domes will show off your design more with less internal shadowing (I haven't tested to see how well they fit in the head as I don't have any yet).
10mm high-domes are actually the right size for the YMY head i'm using, but they had gaps since I carved out the corners, so I used 12mm which fit with a bit of squeezing.

If using glue I recommend brushing it onto the glass and not the paper to avoid smearing the ink.
i plan to remake mine with a better print quality and maybe with some lower domes as the larger size I'm using does mean they're very deep set.
You can also find some options on Xianyu (secondhand marketplace of Taobao) which is a good source for a lot of splatoon doll resources if you know how to search and buy from it.
You can also buy 10/12mm eyes in general on sites like Etsy :) I also bought my pack of cabochons there but you could probably get them cheaper from a dedicated craft store etc.
