it's not weird at all! i use a light-colored brow marker to make the initial shape and fill in the scrawny bits where my real eyebrows don't grow. always with a light touch. then i go in with an angled brow brush carefully loaded (and tapped out a little) with a blend of warm brown and soft black powders. i've tried gels and waxes meant to fix your eyebrow hairs flat but, idk, they just make me look like i greased them with vaseline. so i don't do it, ymmv.
