Can you talk more about Badger vs Bird primary? I come to my decisions based on research and reasoning but I care about what people think. I'll make a big change (religion, diet, etc) after researching and looking at both sides but I'm scared of what people will think and embarrassed. Like I literally hid my new non-mainstream religion from everyone for a year back in school because I was scared of people judging me. Is this Badger or just being self-conscious and anxious and unrelated to SHC?
Not wanting to be judged is something nearly all of us can relate to; it has nothing to do with your sorting. What determines your primary is how you make your decisions, and you make your decisions based on conscious thinking and external data, making you a Bird.
When I say Badgers care what others think, I mean that they take that into account in their decision making: it's part of how they try to find the fairest solution for everyone. They absolutely will go against the popular opinion if that's what they find to be the fair solution, but the opinion of their community holds an undeniable weight. This is because Badgers tend to have an inherent trust in their chosen communities. Birds may also give the consensus weight (if that many people believe it, it must mean something), but they trust their own analysis and empirical evidence first.
