You can feel the philanthropic spirit of EASA - we’re going to leave all of the construction that is just finishing to the citizens of Rijeka and we didn’t even have the time to enjoy it ourselves. Â
though the whole event is coming to the end we’re bringing you some impressions from the first day.Â
Now you can re:live your favourite part of the day any time you want.

Networks
Discussions/ Debates/ Talks on:
networks – social systems – model – structure and agency – nodes and links – self-organization –  potential – function – periphery – testing ground – application – architectural education – information – function – evolution – local – global – impact
The first EASA Forum session took place in the lecture hall after nc meeting on Tuesday the 24th of July. The session opened the series of discussion that will be going on during the RE:EASA under theme Networks – Architecture and Architectural education – Information infrastructure . The session started with Teodor´s brief speech that summarized the background of EASA and introduced the focus point of the session: Networks. As the introduction seemed to have intimidated the participating Easians Martin took over the role of a moderator with more specific questions to provoke conversation. After one and half hours of reasoning why everyone loves EASA the session proceeded in smaller groups by Rosina.
EASA Forum is on and it is going to be continued.

national evening / international carneval
The national evening is cancelled, but it does not mean that we are going to miss the long lived EASA tradition of cultural exchange. Re:organizers have re:thought the concept of national evening. The carnival is designed to minimize the damage of drunken animals and to maximize the actual cultural exchange. Due to refused permission for carnival parade the original plan faced some cosmetic changes. Instead of touring around the city centre, the parade of 600 Easians will leave after dinner from Export Drvo for Hartera. In Hartera cultural exchange will occur in informal manner through exchange of information and gastronomical products. It will be interesting to see if the carnival parade is going to be the first step of changing the national evening from complete chaos towards a more civilized event,… at least supposedly.
